1. Who we are
The souvie.link service ("Service", "we", "us") is currently operated by Lucian Tutunović, an individual operator in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia ("Provider"). Full operator details are on the Impressum page.
Operator status and transfer to a successor company. The Service is currently operated by the Provider as an individual, as a temporary arrangement. The Provider is in the process of incorporating a company and may transfer this contract — together with all obligations under it, including the 5-year retention guarantee and email support — to that successor company once it is established. Any such transfer will not reduce your rights; you will be notified by email; and by accepting these Terms you consent in advance to that transfer. Until it takes place, the Provider named above is your counterparty for the operation of the Service.
Seller of record. A paid souvie.link is sold and invoiced by our Merchant of Record (the "MoR"), an independent third-party company that acts as seller of record for the payment transaction (see clause 6). The Provider operates the souvie.link service itself.
2. Scope
These Terms govern the use of the website souvie.link and all related functionality, including:
- creation and management of a paid editable QR-code redirect ("souvie.link") valid for 5 years from purchase;
- creation of a free static QR code generated client-side in the user's browser;
- the optional Google Photos shared-album creation flow used as a destination for a souvie.link redirect.
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Eligibility
The Service is intended for consumers and businesses aged 18 or older with legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. By purchasing a paid souvie.link you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. The paid souvie.link service
A paid souvie.link is a short URL on the souvie.link domain that performs a server-side HTTP 302 redirect
to a destination URL of your choice. You may change the destination at any time during the validity period through the
dashboard. The Service does not host the destination content; you are responsible for ensuring the destination is lawful and accessible.
Validity period: 5 years from the date of purchase. You will receive expiry-warning emails 30, 14 and 7 days before expiry. After expiry the souvie.link will display an expiry notice instead of redirecting; the link may be renewed for a further 5 years at the price then in effect.
5-year retention guarantee. We guarantee to keep your souvie.link record — the slug and its destination mapping — stored in our database and the redirect operational for the entire 5-year validity period, subject only to clause 12 (maintenance windows) and clause 9 (removal of unlawful links).
5. The free QR code generator
The free QR code generator runs entirely in your browser. No URL you paste into it is transmitted to or stored by the Provider. The free QR is permanent only insofar as the URL it encodes remains valid; we cannot edit it after it has been printed.
6. Price, payment, invoice
The price of a paid souvie.link is 12 EUR for 5 years of validity. The same price applies to renewal.
Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record (the "MoR"), an independent third-party company that acts as seller of record for the transaction. This means the MoR is the party to whom you pay and from whom you receive the official invoice / VAT receipt; the MoR then makes the souvie.link available to you on the Provider's behalf. We (the Provider) do not receive or store your card or bank details — those are processed solely by the MoR and its payment processors.
Because the MoR is the seller of record, any EU VAT applicable to you is collected and remitted by the MoR and is included in the total shown at checkout. The Provider itself is not registered in the Croatian VAT system. An order confirmation containing your souvie.link is sent to the email address you provide; the tax invoice is issued by the MoR.
7. Conclusion of contract; immediate performance
The contract for a paid souvie.link is concluded at the moment your payment is successfully captured by the Merchant of Record and the Service generates and assigns your souvie.link slug. Because the Service is a digital service supplied not on a tangible medium, performance begins immediately upon successful payment.
8. Refunds — 14-day money-back guarantee
We want you to be happy with your souvie.link. If you change your mind for any reason, email us at info@souvie.link within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund the full amount you paid, to the same payment method, within 14 days of your request. No reason and no justification are required. This applies even though your souvie.link is created and becomes operational immediately after payment.
After 14 days, the purchase is final and payments are non-refundable, except where mandatory Croatian consumer law requires otherwise — in particular the statutory guarantee of conformity for digital services (Croatian Consumer Protection Act implementing Directive (EU) 2019/770), where your souvie.link does not conform to the contract and we fail to bring it into conformity within a reasonable time. After the 14-day window we do not refund for change of mind, for a destination URL that becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, or for any other reason beyond this mandatory minimum.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under Croatian law. Any refund that is due is issued by or through the Merchant of Record.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to redirect to, or otherwise distribute, content that is:
- unlawful under Croatian or EU law (including child sexual abuse material, content inciting violence or hatred, content infringing intellectual property rights, defamation);
- malware, phishing, or fraudulent content;
- spam, mass-unsolicited commercial communication, or automated traffic intended to manipulate metrics;
- content that misrepresents the Provider or the souvie.link domain.
We may suspend or delete a souvie.link that violates this clause, with or without prior notice, and without refund where the violation is material.
10. Google Photos integration
If you choose to use the Google Photos album-creation flow, you authorise us — via Google's OAuth consent screen — to create a
single empty shared album in your Google Photos library on your behalf, using the photoslibrary.appendonly scope.
We do not read, list, copy, or transfer any of your existing photos or albums. See the
Privacy Policy for the complete data flow.
11. Account; magic-link authentication
Access to the dashboard for managing your paid souvie.link is provided via a magic-link sent to your email address. You are responsible for the security of your email account and for any actions taken through a successfully authenticated session.
12. Service availability; no SLA
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates and migrations that result in temporary unavailability. We are not liable for losses arising from short downtime that does not materially impair the 5-year validity of the paid souvie.link.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory Croatian law, the Provider's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount paid by the user for the relevant souvie.link in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for damages arising from third-party services (e.g. Google Photos, the Merchant of Record, the user's destination URL host).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory Croatian law, including liability for intent, gross negligence or for damage to life or health.
14. Intellectual property
The Service, including its source code, design, copy, logos and brand assets, is owned by the Provider or its licensors and protected by Croatian and EU intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer any IP to the user; the Service is licensed, not sold. You retain all rights in the destination URL and in any content hosted at that URL.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to paid users by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For existing souvie.links the version of these Terms in force at the time of purchase governs the service, except for changes required by law.
16. Governing law; jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties agree that the competent court in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia (Općinski sud u Zagrebu or Trgovački sud u Zagrebu, as applicable) shall hear any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or a souvie.link. For users acting as businesses (non-consumers) this jurisdiction is exclusive. For consumers, this clause does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory rules — including the right under Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 to bring or defend proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
17. Dispute resolution; ODR platform
Consumers in the EU may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our contact for ODR purposes is info@souvie.link.
