1. What cookies we use
souvie.link uses the minimum number of cookies needed to operate the Service. We do not use any cookies or similar technologies for analytics, advertising, profiling, behavioural tracking, or third-party marketing.

Keeps you signed in to your dashboard after you click the magic link in your email. | Strictly necessary | Up to 30 days (signed-in session) |
locale |

souvie-theme |
Remembers your appearance choice (light, dark, or follow your device setting) selected from the theme switcher. | Necessary (user preference) | 1 year |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance (Cloudflare) |
Bot-management and DDoS protection set by Cloudflare in front of the site. | Strictly necessary | 30 minutes to 30 days |
2. Why we do not show a cookie banner
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as implemented by Croatian law), consent is required only for the use of cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide the service that the user has explicitly requested. All cookies listed above are either strictly necessary for the operation of the Service or set by the user's deliberate action (selecting a language or appearance theme). We therefore do not display a consent banner.
3. Third-party cookies triggered by your actions
Some features only run after you click them. They are not loaded by default, and any cookies they set are governed by the third-party's own privacy policy:
- Google Sign-In — loaded only on the Create page. If you click "Create a photo album" and sign in with Google, Google will set cookies on its own domains as described in Google's cookie policy.
- PayPal — loaded only when you proceed to checkout. PayPal will set cookies on its own domains as described in PayPal's cookie statement.
4. Local storage
The QR-code generator may use your browser's local storage to remember your most recent style preference (one of five baked-in shapes). This is purely a UI convenience and is not transmitted to our servers.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from browsing the public pages,
but blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in to your dashboard.
